Part Two

Basic techniques in analyzing worry

1. Get the facts. Remember that Dean Hawkes of Columbia University said that “half the worry in the world is caused by people trying to make decisions before they have sufficient knowledge on which to base a decision.”
2. After carefully weighing all the facts, come to a decision.
3. Once a decision is carefully reached, act! Get busy carrying out your decision–and dismiss all anxiety about the outcome.
4. When you, or any of your associates, are tempted to worry about a problem, write out and answer the following questions:
   1. What is the problem?
   2. What is the cause of the problem?
   3. What are all possible solutions?
   4. What is the best solution?

Part Three

How to break the worry habit before it breaks you

1. Crowd worry out of your mind by keeping busy. Plenty of action is one of the best therapies ever devised for curing “wibber gibbers.”
2. Don’t fuss about trifles. Don’t permit little things–the mere termites of life–to ruin your happines.
3. Use the law of averages to outlaw your worries. Ask yourself: “What are the odds against this thing’s happening at all?”
4. Co-operate with the inevitable. If you know a circumstance is beyond your power to change or revise, say to yourself: “It is so; it cannot be otherwise.”
5. Put a “stop-less” order on your worries. Decide just how much anxiety a thing may be worth–and refuse to give it anymore.
6. Let the past bury its dead. Don’t saw sawdust.

Part Four

Seven ways to cultivate a mental attitude that will bring you peace and happiness

1. Let’s fill our minds with thoughts of peace, courage, health, and hope, for “our life is what our thoughts make it.”
2. Let’s never try to get even with our enemies, because if we do we will hurt ourselves far more than we hurt them. Let’s do as General Eisenhower does: let’s never waste a minute thinking about people we don’t like.

SEPTUAGENARIAN and retired civil engineer with the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA), Steven Okagbue attests to the healing wonders of Bio Disc. Now an independent representative of Qnet in the country, he said that the goal of the company is to bring health and wealth to nations of the world. He spoke with WOLE OYEBADE. Excerpts

Describe your encounter with Bio Disc

My first encounter was in this office, here in Victoria Garden City, about four and a half years ago (2007). I just came from hospital admission in Milan, Italy, where I had four by-pass operations done on me. The problem was heart attack. I returned to this country in a vegetative state, having no strength whatsoever. I came to this office just to photocopy a document and I was told about Bio Disc.

I did not believe it. I was told to buy a bottle of water and that it will be energised. The water was energised and I went home with it. I drank it during meal but I felt no change in taste. I forgot all about the water until two days later when I was back at the office and asked about the effect of the water. I replied that I drank it just once and the rest was history.

I was advised to buy two more bottles and it was again energised. This time I drank the water at home. I did not allow the house-help to take it away; rather, I took it to my bedside and continued drinking. In four days, I started feeling changes in my body system. My lost energy started returning gradually.

Prior to that changes, I would wake up in the morning, descend the stairs to ground floor but would not return until nightfall. I never had the strength to move around. I would travel the stairs, having to stop intermittently for a two or three-minute breather.

But, just four days of drinking the energised water, I found that I could walk straight from the ground floor to my top floor bedroom unaided. That made me ask: “Is there something in this water?” And I came back to this office and I was told about a forthcoming meeting on Bio Disc at Protea Hotel. I attended and was indeed impressed.

Why would you attribute the changes in your body to the energised water, especially when you are still taking prescribed medication?

I believed in fact. Prior to the water, I was like vegetable. I was still taking my medication with no change, but the water shot up my immune system and the energy level improved. At Protea meeting, I ordered for my own Bio Disc and I started using it.

Since then (2007) till date I have become a different person. Things I could not do before, I could do conveniently. Like climbing up my staircase, I can stand-up and sit unaided. I can walk, exercise and drive myself. I am over 70 years old, but with Bio Disc, I feel like I am in my 50s.

Are there similar testimonies or your experience is just one stand-out scenario?

Since my contact with Bio Disc, I have seen many people on their way to the grave but being revived by Bio Disc. I can take you to someone who had been discharged at the hospital to go and die at home. His case was said to be hopeless by a foremost hospital here in Lagos. We took the Bio Disc to him and he is alive today. That was since 2007.
He traveled all around the world. He came back to Nigeria, where the doctors advised him not to waste his money again. Rather, go back home, with a nurse by his sickbed 24 hours a day. The day we met him, he was lying down flat and could not even raise a finger, nor speak or even recognise us.

But today, he is alive and fine. He still takes his medications but not as heavily as it was before. You will wonder what is keeping him alive? It is the elementary things about Bio Disc. How is this possible?
It is possible because oxygen has depleted in most of the water that we drink in the world today. But Bio Disc has a mechanism of putting more oxygen into our body structure. Our body is made up more than 70 per cent of water. Once the structure of water in you changes, then you have changed. As the water passes over the Bio Disc, it is energised and energy is infused into it. If you have a glass from the structured water, it is not the same with any water you can buy anywhere. The inventor aimed the Bio Disc to help mankind and not for commercial purposes. Yet it promises financial returns for independent representatives and users. How do we marry these two?

For instance, I recovered the money I used in buying my Bio Disc in just three months. It promises financial independence for patronisers.

The idea of Dr. Ian Lyon when inventing Bio Disc is targeted at cell-based ailments, like cancer, arthritis, diabetes etc. So, you can at home, office and in the community help a lot of people. We have it in the village where people come around to take water for free.

When we go to hospitals, we try to ascertain what ailments they are having. What we do is to thoroughly clean the Bio Disc, and then energise their water. Like someone having indigestion, by the time we give two or three glasses of water, within 10 minutes, the person must go to toilet. Like here now, people come around to take structured water. People will buy bottled water, leave it here and later come to pick them. We are not selling but we are helping them.
We are also looking at where we can use it to empower our women in the community who provide energised water but at a little token. You can use this water to help those in Agricultural business, especially the poultry farmer.
Structured water makes the animals also live healthily. Place structured water beside manufactured water in a fishpond and see where the fishes would go. They will go into the latter because it is lighter. They can easily open their mouth and water enters, with energy and oxygen getting in to the necessary organs of the body. There is no exhausting the benefits of Bio Disc!

One of the challenges I do have is that if I drive for a long time, I would have neck problem but it disappears by mere spray of the energy water. The same for fighting Electro Magnetic Radiation (EMR) of our computers, laptops etc.
It is a product of serious research work. It is from Germany, and you know that the Germans will not export what they cannot use. But the marketing centre is in Hong Kong. It is definitely a product of many countries. The latest now is the purifier from South Korea.

Physical presence of the company in Nigeria

The Healing Mystery Of Bio Disc, By Scientist, Ejikeonye

Biochemist and environmental health officer, Richard Ejikeonye says that the make-up of Bio Disc is simple nutrients of nature; fused together using advanced technology of Nanotechnology. With years of training even by the inventor, Dr. Ian Lyons, he said the device is unique for its biocompatibility and radiation of lasting energy. He spoke with WOLE OYEBADE. Excerpts

What is the magic in the Bio Disc process? The magic is that oxygen penetrates your body through this device. Just as you breath to survive, it is oxygen that you are breathing and the more of it you have, the better.

Late in 2006, I came in contact with Qnet, formally known as Quest Net. We had a group of businessmen and women that came to Federal Palace Hotel and I was told that someone known as Chika, a friend in Malaysia, gave them my contact to invite me. I read a lot about the product and I made purchase and my wife also did. My mother, mother-in-law, brothers and sisters, here and outside the country are all using Bio Disc.

Actually, I had the opportunity of meeting the inventor in Malaysia during a training course. Based also on my background as a medical Biochemist, and environmental health officer, I had to go through so many trainings to know about it.
Bio Disc is biocompatible, in the sense that there is no chemical that can cause reaction in Bio Disc. For instance, a sodium hydroxide mixed with acid is bound to have a reaction, producing a different compound all together. But in Bio Disc, there is nothing like that.

Magical glass of some sort?
It is not the glass that is efficacious, but the infused minerals. There are 13 minerals infused in Bio Disc. I will give you some, because based on the patent we are not expected to give a run-down of all minerals. You have calcium, for muscle contraction; potassium that helps enhance functioning; sodium that helps in acidity etc. First of all, the water will help the nutrients to get to different organs that are nutrient deficient. It revives the person.

The minerals that are infused are positive minerals. The negative ones like chlorine, iodine, bromide, fluoride etc. are not part of the Bio Disc. These are elements that also affect certain chemical content in the body system.

Chlorine is used in water treatment. Some countries do not use chlorine anymore, but we in Nigeria still do, as it is generally okay to bring down micro-organisms in water. But the chlorine used, some of the people that treat our waters are not so educated. When you tell them to add a spoon of chlorine, but because the water is large, they end up putting two or four spoons. These are basic things we need to look into.

I looked at the analysis of Swan water, Lily and Nestle water — they are the ones that can analyse and you can see chlorine in varied quantity; some very small, while others very large. When you take sulphate, your Alum (hydrated potassium aluminum sulphate) that you use in water treatment, that is double salt, used in removing sly from snail. What do you think it will also do in the water? It helps to bring down the particles and the water looks very sparkling and clean but it is adding more weight to water.

If you check the structure of water, it is hexagonal. Naturally, there are positions where nutrients need to attach for water to take the nutrient into the cell but by the time you use all of these chemicals, they affect the hexagonal structure and water becomes structureless. That is why we call it unstructured water.

And Bio Disc reverses the structure?
I look at the invention of Bio Disc as both divine as well as scientific. Divine because Dr. Lyons came about the Bio Disc revelation while he was in the monastery. He found out that the monks were very old, yet, so healthy and radiant, most attributed to the water that they drink. He was able to find out that their water is so natural.

Even in your house, if you bring up natural water, without using plastic pressure pipe, you will tend to drink more. This is because the basic gravity is lower compared to the weight of processed water. The natural water has no chemical attached to it and it is healing water.

This accounts for why our traditional mothers store water in pots that are half-buried in the ground. The ground is made up of all the necessary minerals — calcium, potassium etc — all these minerals that help plants to grow and develop. The minerals help to naturalise the water, since you cannot always go to the stream to drink.

Does this account for why some people take processed water presumed to be free from water borne disease and still come down with diseases like typhoid?

Yes. Processed water like the N5 sachet water that you purchase, is treated okay in terms of microorganism. But if they purchase it and just carelessly dump it on the ground, exposed it to the sun and in the process of selling, many dirty hands have also touched it etc. These are the areas that we contact infections not exactly the treated water.
I am also saying that the weight of the water is high. Second, the points where nutrients are supposed to attach are blocked because of chemicals like chlorine. It impairs the real functioning of water in the body. You can imagine water that carries chlorine blocking the artery due to chemical reaction. Nutrients cannot get to the organ or to the cell.
What Bio Disc targets is freeing the water and allowing it to move. This is through the nanotechnology that infuses the 13 minerals into the glass. Nanotechnology is Japanese technology that makes something that is bigger become smaller. This is the chemical aspect not of the microorganism.

How is it that there is a movement of these nutrients from the Bio Disc to water?
Energy is transferable. A bottle of drink can be sprayed with Bio-Disc energised water, and the drink becomes lighter — that is structured — just by spraying the bottle. If it is coffee, it will not be choking. Even alcohol becomes lighter and smoother. And will not continue to flow in the blood stream. Those ones that are necessary enter into the cell. Once energy enters into the body cells, the issue of your diabetes will no longer be there.

Cells are supposed to have small opening for free passage of some nutrients. Some that are in smaller sizes will enter, but where the objects are fused, they are not able to enter, causing struggling and blockage of the cell membranes. That is the water caring chlorine and other negative nutrients. One example is glucose that keeps on circulating in the blood. Once you can take lighter water, and it can carry glucose, it reduces the quantity of glucose in blood circulation, and the cells will now have glucose to produce energy. So, there are a lot of things that take place in the cell, for energy to be produced.

How you do you explain the energising procedure of Bio Disc without visible nutrient flow?
For instance, two phones calling one another, show no physical connection. Even the exchange of email messages in your computer. It is not very obvious, but it is energy at work. Energy can move through water, air, and solid. In this case, it is moving because of the minerals that are in the Bio Disc. It creates what is called scalar energy. There are so many energy-generating materials but transforming energy through air is one of the channels. It is transferred and it stays.

Are the Bio Disc minerals inexhaustible?
It is not actually inexhaustible, but current researches show that the minerals can stay in Bio Disc for up to 25 years. Bio Disc, using Nanotechnology is produced by A.G. Schott of Germany and had undergone certification by many international agencies, including the North American Space Agency (NASA). So far as studies have proven, it can last for 25 years, and it produces no chemical but only minerals, because glass can hold things to over 6000?C. The minerals in this case are doing catalytic work. That is, they remain quantitatively unchanged at the end of their work. As they are restructuring, their quantity remains the same.

Can its usage be abused?
There are conditions that are not ideal in the use of Bio Disc. For instance, putting the Bio Disc inside the deep freezer and hot water is not ideal. Freezing condition creates contraction and expansion. These are things that you do not do with magnets, or it demagnetises.

The Bio Disc has 13 minerals, but only seven cells are obvious in the glass.

It is not the cells but the nutrients infused to do the restructuring. The minerals are combined not separate, having where they are carefully structured in the glass, with each cell having its expectation and their effects all combined for adequate structuring.

If there is a crack or the Bio Disc falls and breaks, can it still be efficacious?
It is easily broken like everything that has to do with glass but a rubber protective shield has also been designed. So, if it falls, it will not break. If there is a crack, what you should do is just to join it together and place your bottle of soft drink on it and its sugar level will go down within 10 minutes.

If it breaks into pieces, the first thing is to be wary of the injury that the person may get. But a mere cello-tape can still fasten it together for sufficient efficacy. It can also restructure booze, alcohol and cigarette.

Cigarette?
Based on my background, you know that we have over 4000 chemicals in tobacco, of which over 30 are carcinogenic. What I advice is do not smoke but because others can smoke and puff it to me, if I have advice to give them, it is just to scrub the cigarette butt on the Bio Disc and smoke. It will no longer choke. Second, it is smoother and the chemical constituent that affects the body is broken down and they are no longer dangerous.
The same goes for Alcohol. One of the problems with alcohol is the preservative. Most of the foods that we eat too have added preservatives. If there is any mineral you can combine to cut the effect of preservatives, they will no longer be in the form to create problems in the body.

and asked the young man to first remove the CARROTS and feel them, the young man said the carrots had become soft, the EGGS externally remained the same but inside they had become hard, the COFFEE BEANS had changed the color , the smell and taste of the water, the water had become coffee with its wonderful aroma and flavor and enjoyable drink.

The CARROTS and the EGGS and the COFFEE BEANS faced the same difficult task of being on the fire for 20 minutes each faced the same schorching heat but all reacted differently.

The CARROTS could not stand the heat and gave in and became soft and useless and hopeless, the EGGS became hard inside couldn’t face the heat so it changed itself and tried to protect itself, the COFFEE BEANS were the best they not only took up the challenge of the heat , they did not change instead they changed water into lovely coffee.

The moral of this story is , we all face challenges on a daily basis, this could be the climate too hot or too cold, or it can be at office with your boss or your colleagues or friends or spouse or children. Flooding can happen any time, war can break out or an earthquake can occur. Think over will you allow yourself to be the carrot and become hopeless or will you change the challenges into your advantage and let your life become better.

In reality we are so weak, and when faced with a problem we look at the thousands who have failed and decide to give in.

Look at the one person who has succeeded and follow him, don’t follow the millions who have failed.

This is the simple truth about life.

1. Longevity of the Company: Statistics show that 90% of all start up Companies fail in the first 5 years in business. Statistics also show that 90% of the remaining 10% also fail in the next 5 years in business. This also applies to all Network Marketing companies. So before joining any Network Marketing company, you should know the age of the company. How long has it been into existence? It should have at least lasted more than 5 years. 10 years is even better. That proves that the company management is stable and it could survive all those years.

2. Credibility of the Company: Credibility is defined as “The quality, capability, or power to elicit belief.” And this belief has to be both subjective and objective. What does the company talks about themselves and what other “Credible” sources talk about the company. You need to work with a company which you can trust. A company which you have 100% faith in. Otherwise you might find yourself being trapped in an illegal business (like pyramids schemes) which might bring you problems.

3. Size and Growth of the Company: The size and growth of the company gives you and idea of the level of success the company has achieved. Where are the offices operating? How many offices they have? In how many countries? How many independent representatives/distributors are with the company? That’s all important.

But an even more important question to ask is, how fast is the company growing? Growths is more important than the size. There are companies which have been in business since 1970″s and they have 7,000,000 Independent distributors and there are companies which have started in the late 90″s and they have 6,000,000 Independent distributors.

Now which company should you get involved in? Off course the 2nd company has proven that it’s growing in a rapid pace. That means more money is being generated than the first company. So it’s obviously a smart decision to get involved in the 2nd company. involved with the 2nd Company.

4. Products: The type of products the company sells is also very important. There are companies which generate their business without having any products. They claim to build their business using the Network Marketing model. People get enrolled by paying money and recruit other people as well. I want to make this loud and clear to you. Those are not Network Marketing companies and are illegal in most countries. I highly suggest you don’t get involved in such companies. Most of them never last.

Network Marketing is all about having a large group of distributors promoting and marketing a products or services of their respective companies to the market place.

As a token of goodwill, the company shares it’s profits to them. That’s how Company’s survive and that’s how distributors make money. It’s a win win situation for both the company and the distributor.

Now it’s the job of the company to do their market research and see what products/services are needed in the marketing place. The job of you, the distributor is be able to market those products/services in a hungry market. We all have to admit that not all products sell the same. The products have to have a lot of value to the market place. I’ll share with you the niche markets which the most successful Network Marketing companies focus on. These are:

1. Health and Wellness Products (80% of all Network Marketing Companies)
2. Telecommunication services
3. Vacation
4. Gold and Silver numismatics and jewelery (It’s a growing trend)
5. Education (Self improvement, Financial education, marketing etc – a growing trend)

So if you join a Network Marketing company which has positioned themselves into any of the above niches, you should be fine with it. You should also be passionate with the products you promote. Passion is a positive emotion, and emotions are more powerful than logic. “People buy into emotions and justify with logic.” The more emotional you are to your product, the more you sell.

5. Compensation Plan: You are into Network Marketing to make money. Period! If you want to get into Network Marketing just because of the product(s), then there is no reason for you to continue reading.

If the company you get involved in doesn’t pay you good money for you building the business, I seriously think you should look somewhere else. You have bills and need to pay tuition fees for your children.

Off course almost all Network Marketing can eventually make you earn a large amount of income.

So how do you know if a company pays a lot of money or little money? Simple. Just look at 2 main things.
1. How many people do you need to you recruit in your opportunity to earn a certain amount of money? Compare that with different companies and you will know which company pays better.
2. What is the highest commission you can earn for selling a single product? For some companies it can go to lets say $200 or more.

The question that might be or should be running in your head right now is,

“for the company to pay a big commission, doesn’t it mean that the price of the product(s) has to be expensive?”

I’ll answer the question in this way. People usually don’t care about the price of the product. You might not agree with my answer but it’s the truth. What people really care is the value of the product they get from that price. So value always comes first. That’s why we see some people save $400 to buy an iPhone or borrow $7000 from the bank to buy a Toyota RAV 4. As long as that person sees value into something they will be willing to pay for that value.

So what is my message? My message is, don’t join a company which sells cheap products. Join a company which sells valuable product and a company which pays you valuable income.

6. Training: It is said that the best business training is found in a Network Marketing Company. Not in an MBA. I am sorry if I offended you here. But hey! That’s the truth. It’s only in Network Marketing where you can find a dishwasher who’s a high school dropout who ends up becoming a Millionaire in less than 5 years. I’m not saying it’s easy becoming a millionaire in Network Marketing, but there a many success stories of Network Marketers than there are of MBA holders. What I’m saying is, you have a higher chance being a millionaire through Network Marketing than an MBA graduate in the corporate world.

It is really important that the company you get involved in has that training to raise you from where you are to where you want to go. It doesn’t matter how BIG you want to grow. There is no limit. And off course to grow bigger, you need to raise your thinking.

As Albert Einstein stated, “The same level of thinking that has brought you to the level of success you have today, will not bring you to the level of success you want for tomorrow or beyond.”

Success is a knowledge which is not taught in school. But in a good Network Marketing company, you will get that knowledge. You will learn the blue print of becoming successful.

7. YOU: You are the most important factor in the equation of your success in Network Marketing. You might be in the best company, which offers the best product and the best trainings. All is useless if YOU are not willing to do whatever it takes to succeed.

Network Marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. Don’t expect to join a Network Marketing company and do nothing and expect to make a lot of money. Why should they pay you anything? What have you done to deserve anything? To earn $1000/wk you have to pay the price of earning $1000/wk. To earn $10,000/wk you have to pay it’s price. Every good thing has it’s price.

If YOU wanna make it BIG in Network Marketing, go look at the person in the mirror. Do you really want to do it? Do you have what it takes? Are willing to put your heart and soul into the business. The answer to all your success lies within you. Stop looking somewhere else. Only 10% of people in Network Marketing make the BIG bucks and live the life of their dreams. The rest just occupy space and complain about everything but themselves. We call these people turkeys. To win you need to be an eagle!

As Brian Tracy says: “You can’t fly with the eagles when you’re down scratching your back with the turkeys.”

Now, what does that mean? What that means is STOP working hard at your job. START working hard at yourself (self development).

The knowledge you have got in the first few days has already increased your value to the market place. You can get paid for that.

History of Network Marketing

Network Marketing is about half a century old. It all started in 1959 by the founder of Amway. The industry has since evolved through various phases to the point where it is today.

In years past, network marketing was dismissed by many business leaders as a get-rich-quick scheme, analogous to chain letter and pyramid scams. But those days are gone. Today Fortune 500 corporations flock to do business through marketing networks and Wall Street analysts sing the praises of these companies’ sales methods.

Indeed, network marketing has grown into one of the driving forces of the twenty first century economy. Industry experts estimate that annual sales through network marketing have reached about $20 billion in the United States alone and $80 billion worldwide. There is an estimate that about 8 million people are engaged in network marketing in the United States alone.

Why are so many people doing it?

“Because network marketing is the answer to one of the most nagging questions facing people in the Information Age. How do you make a living in a world where there are fewer jobs being created and many become obsolete.” Richard Poe, Wave 4, Network Marketing in the 21st Century

Phase 1 The humble beginning of the industry was initiated by the concept of direct selling. For example, I have a product and if you help sell it you can keep a share of your profit. An example of such a company that had a single layer marketing was Tupperware.

Phase 2 Over time, many people in Phase 1 begin to realize that their friends and family wanted to join them in the pursuit of business too. Thus, the concept of multilevel marketing (MLM) began to take form. The focus was still very much on personal distribution of products and profit margins rather than building a large network of individuals who will contribute accordingly. The focus was still very much on selling, personal volume and product training rather than building and training leaders. They could not see the power of duplication as the compensation plans in place only reward people for being first level distributors or agents.

Phase 3 The older companies became smarter, more mature and began to realize the potential of allowing people to earn income from multiple levels. The networkers in this phase were excited about their income potential with many of them being housewives and non working professionals. Though the money was good, this phase saw the lack of professionals, training, system and technology. A lawyer for instance could not see himself as a direct sales guy no matter how lucrative the potential income was.

Phase 4 This phase saw the birth of a new breed of professionals embarking on a new mission, that is, to build Interactive Systems. The industry was beginning to attract a different segment of society, the new professionals who were beginning to turn this part time venture into a successful career. The emphasis was building successful, duplicate networks with a strong leader-ship base supported by a structured system of training, function, books, tapes and CD’s.

Phase 5 The industry is seamless and global. There are no geographical boundaries. Thus, allowing many to build international networks through the power of the Internet from their very homes. This is the future of network marketing and it is rapidly evolving alongside technology.

The industry is the most misunderstood because of the image created in Phase 1 and 2 which required door to door selling and product demonstrations. Many shun away for fear of being laughed at by friends and their pride being tarnished. Today, times are changing and more and more people are looking for ways or alternatives to supplement their present income. The climb up the corporate ladder is very difficult. With respect to traditional business the statistics are alarming. 65% of businesses fail in the first six months, 95% fail in 12 months, out of which 10% survive and break even. A mere 1% makes a profit in 2 years.

Network Marketing is an attractive option as all one needs is a serious desire to make money and to treat the business professionally. Many walk today as ‘professional networkers’ proud of the freedom the industry has been able to provide. In the years ahead, this new revolution will continue to shake the world economy to its roots and challenge traditional economic fundamentals. It will leave the world a freer and more prosperous place.

Network marketing is poised to transform into one of the most potent business forces of the new millennium.

Today, I want you to Share with you a very interesting subject. A subject which has never been taught in school. A subject which only a few know
about. And that is the subject of money. At the end of this email you will finally understand the BIGGEST difference between the rich and
the poor and why the rich are getting richer and the poorer are getting poorer.

But before I get into that you have to understand the 4 different ways in which you can make money, and which option you should follow and
which ones you should try to avoid if your goal is financial freedom.

4 Ways of Making Money
(The CashFlow Quadrant)

1. Employee – For generations parents have been giving the following advice to their children, “Son, go to school, get good grades and find a safe secure job. Save money and buy a house.” We have been psychologically programmed by our society to be work for someone else. To be independent. The advantage of this quadrant is that you master what you have studied for. For example you study medicine and work in a hospital. You gain experience after some time and become good at what you do. The disadvantage is if you want to earn more money you have to exchange more time or expertise (like a master’s degree) to your boss.

2. Self Employed – This is the dream of many people. To own their own small business. Most professionals like doctors (specialists), lawyers, engineers fall under this quadrant. The advantage of this quadrant is that you have control; you are your own boss. There is no one above you to tell you what to do except yourself. The disadvantage is that in order to earn money you have to spend more time running your small business. So the more money you earn, the less free time you have. When you’re sick or you travel, you make no or very little income for you as the business cannot run without your presence. A good example is a cardiac surgeon who starts his small cardiac surgery hospital. For cardiac procedures to be done, he has to be there otherwise he won’t make any money. That’s why Self Employed people are so busy struggling trying to make ends meet. They have very little or no free time.

3. Business – If you want to be financially free, then this is the best quadrant to be in. This is where the majority of the wealthiest people in the world are. But the surprising thing is that more than 85% of the top entrepreneurs don’t even have a college degree. Examples of those who quit high school before establishing a successful business are Bill Gates (the founder of Microsoft and the second richest person the world), Michael Dell (The founder of Dell Computers), Mark Zukerberg (The Co founder of facebook and the youngest Billionaire) and many more. Unlike the S Quadrant, in the B Quadrant, you don’t have to be the smartest to succeed. You just have to be smart enough to hire the smartest people in your team. Success in the B quadrant it’s not about what you know, but it’s about who you know. Here you build a system and hire the smartest and best people to work for you. The more people you have, the more money you make. That’s why they say, “The A students work for the C students and the B students work for the government.” That is not just a saying, but it is reality. Look around. The richest people weren’t the smartest in school.

4. Investing – There are 2 types of investors. Those who invest because they have no money and those who invest because they make a lot of money. Here I’m specifically talking about the 2nd group. The rich and wealthy generate a lot of money in their businesses. The extra money they make, they invest in their rich friend’s business and earns a percentage of the profit. That is why Bill Gates (2nd richest in the world) and Warren Buffet (3rd richest in the world) are best friends and they all invest into each others business. Here money works for you. The company you invested in does all the work and generate income, and you get a piece of that pie.

Why are the rich getting richer? Simple! They generate income on the right side of the quadrant. And the right side of the quadrant gives them something which the left cannot. And that is leverage. Leverage is defined as the ability to influence a system, or an environment, in a way that multiplies the outcome of one’s efforts without a corresponding increase in the consumption of resources. In other words, leverage is an advantageous-condition of having a relatively small amount of input yield a relatively high level of output. Thus, doing a lot with a little. Their income does not depend on how much time they spent, but on how much leverage they created.

In order to change your income, you need to change your quadrant. Now Guys, you now have information which only less than 10% of the people in the world have. We have always been taught by society to go to school, get good grades and look for a safe secure job. To be successful in the 21st Century Guys you don’t need a job. In fact in today’s economy, a job is much more riskier.

How to cash in on your low days

Network Marketing is not your run of the mill job where you sit behind a desk in a cubicle with no view for eight or nine hours, and deal with a boss who won’t give you the time of day. Instead, it is a profession where the world is your very own playground, and the only person accountable for your success or failure is you. And yet, even the most passionate Network Marketers sometimes wake up with less than 100% desire to hit the ground running. Prospecting, presenting, selling, network training—these are just a few of the tasks that comprise a typical Network Marketer’s day. And sometimes, these can feel so routine that we tend to lose sight of all the fun and excitement that this business is famous for.

But this is no reason to feel alarmed, or to start doubting your place in this business. At times like these, what you need to do is plan how you will take advantage of this—as well as other “down days” to come. Here are a few basic steps on how you can do this:

Step 1: Make a list of what you’ve always wanted to do.
It always starts in the mind. After all, positive thoughts lead to positive moods, and positive moods turn into positive actions. So go and write down enjoyable and interesting things you’ve thought of doing in the past. Learning a new language or hobby, trying out a new sport or going back to an old one, visiting a museum or some nearby getaway, travelling abroad to meet an old relative or friend—chances are such activities have crossed your mind in the past, but somehow you just never got around to doing them. Well, now’s the perfect time to get on them. Not only will they give your mind a break, they will also give you the kind of fresh stimulation that you need to regain your focus.

Step 2: Mark them into your calendar.
For the most part, revisiting your always-wanted-to-do-but-never-had-time-for activities is not something you can do on a whim. Many of them require some degree of advanced planning, and more often than not, you won’t be able to actually do them on your low day. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t plan them into your schedule. Take a look at your calendar: do you have a week free in August? Organize an out of town trip with some friends and family. Will you be in town every Saturday for the next two months? Why not enroll in a class that teaches French or yoga? Do you have only one weekend to spare? How about taking a crash course in photography? Seeing, on paper, how you can maximize your time will make you realize that down time doesn’t have to mean idle time. More importantly, it will also show you that no matter how hectic your Network Marketing career appears to get, this is the only business that allows you a great deal of freedom of time in which you can enrich your life.

Step 3: Commit to it.
Once you’ve scheduled your down-time activities, the next thing to remember is that a plan is nothing more than ink on paper until it is implemented. Between now and the actual date on which you are supposed to do your down-time activity, many things can happen that will tempt you to cancel your plans. New appointments can come up, urgent matters can require your presence. And while some issues are, in fact, more important than, say, studying a new language, bear in mind that even your down-time activities have long-term benefits. So try, as much as you can, to push through with your planned activities. Treat them the way you would any business appointment—you normally wouldn’t cancel those unless you absolutely have no choice, would you?

Step 4: Document it.
Finally, as you go ahead and actually put your down-time plans into action, do remember to bring a camera and a journal, so you can record every step. Not only will this serve as a quick reference, in case you want to review some aspects of your new activity; it will also be of great value several months (or years) down the road, especially the next time you’re feeling a little less than 100% and need to take your mind off work for a while—simply look back at your pictures and notes, and chances are it will be just like doing that activity all over again!

Like you, every great person in history has had his low days. What matters is how you deal with them. So the next time you wake up to what most people describe as “one of those days”, don’t be so quick to say “I’m taking the day off.” Remember that opportunity usually knocks once, and then quickly leaves when you don’t answer the door quickly enough. Instead, try out this simple exercise—and before you know it, you’ll be out the door and making your next business presentation with gusto!

Whether you’re new to the Network Marketing business, or have been doing it for decades, approaching a complete stranger with hopes of signing them up can sometimes be a tricky proposition. For one thing, cultural differences could mean that some seemingly ordinary topics may be taboo to other people. Or, in some cases, the person you are thinking of approaching simply wants some alone time and may not be in a chatty mood.

One rule of thumb in salesmanship is to make your prospect want what you are offering. In the case of meeting a stranger, the idea is to make them want to talk to you. This way, your approach has less risk of being considered invasive. But how do you make a complete stranger want to talk to you when you’re the one who approached them in the first place? The answer is in the topic of the conversation-you throw in a good topic, and let them do the talking.

Here are five universally good conversation topics that are almost sure to get anyone talking, whether you’re meeting them for the first time, or have known them for quite a while. For most of these, the clues can be found all over the person-in the clothes they wear, the accessories they have, and in other subtle clues. All you have to do is observe the details, and then decide which topic has the best chance of starting an animated conversation.

1 – Family. Say your prospect is in the company of at least one adult and a few kids; they seem to be a family. In a case like this, asking your prospect about his or her family is likely to get them sharing information with you proudly. Make a positive comment about one of the kids; ask about the kids’ names and ages; ask them if they frequently go out as a family; ask them what it’s like to be living with such wonderful people… the list of questions can go on. And even if the adult and kids are not your prospect’s family, the bottom line is any person who loves his family will almost always be more than willing to spend a few minutes talking about it, even to a total stranger.

2 – Food. Everybody eats. So regardless of a person’s background, food is always a topic that he would know something about. In fact, this is one of the topics that work best for prospects who come from exotic places. If your prospect happens to be having a meal or a snack, politely ask him how his food is, and say that you are thinking of ordering the same thing. Chances are he would be more than eager to tell you his comments-whether good or bad. Once this happens, it will be only too easy for you to carry on the conversation by asking what foods he likes, if he cooks, and so on.

3 – Sports . Most public places like bars and restaurants are likely to have television screens showing sports programs. If you happen to find yourself prospecting in such a place, look around for people, whether alone or with a group, who are glued to the television set, intently watching the game. The more passionate they are about the game, the better. Simply approach them politely and ask them something about the game-what’s the score, who is winning, whether the game is live or a rerun, and so on. Of course, it always helps if you yourself know enough about the sport. But even if you didn’t, simply expressing an interest in knowing more about the sport is usually enough to get a fanatic talking for hours.

4 – Music. Music is all around us-literally. Nowadays, it’s typical for anything from a train station to a building lobby to have some piped-in music to keep people from getting bored. So if you spot a prospect in a place where there’s music playing, make a comment about the song being played, or ask them if they know the title of the song. It doesn’t matter whether they actually know the song or not, or if they even like the song being played. Your approach could very easily graduate to a conversation about your prospect’s musical preferences. And if you’re lucky, you might even chance upon a prospect who likes the same music as you, in which case you’ve got yourself a lasting friendship in the works!

5 – Directions. It’s hard to imagine a person who would not take at least a few seconds to give directions to a lost stranger. This is why asking for directions is about the most effective conversation starter. Simply approach a prospect and ask if they’re familiar with the area, and ask how to get to a certain place. If they happen to know the way, then you’re on your way to a fruitful conversation. If they’re not, then you can follow-up by asking them where they are from, or why they are here. With a little luck, you could soon find yourself discussing the person’s business, lifestyle and other matters-all of which could at any moment open the door to making a quick broad-stroke presentation of the opportunity that is Network Marketing.

Human beings are social creatures by nature. We inherently love sharing our thoughts, feelings, likes, dislikes, and other things in our minds and hearts. The key in successfully starting a conversation is finding that sweet spot that will get a complete stranger to willingly share what he has to say. And with these universal conversation starters, you stand a good chance of actually hitting that sweet spot.
